Maifest in Lincoln Square

The Car Gallery is located in one of Chicago's loveliest neighborhoods, Lincoln Square. The neighborhood has a strong German heritage and hosts two German-themed festivals every year, Maifest in June and Oktoberfest in September (go figure!). This weekend is Maifest and the beers will be flowing in and out of plastic steins (I wish we'd get the traditional steins seen above, but that may be a bit much). Stop by this weekend to the Leland & Lincoln Ave. intersection and bring the whole family as there's a mini-carnival for the kids, live music, great German food, and of course, the famous German beer. You'll feel like you're in a Munich beer hall!
